- $9.1 million verdict for the death of a 39-year-old father of two.
- $7.4 million dollar settlement for a baby brain damaged at birth.
- $3.9 million settlement for a brain injured baby in Illinois.
- $3.5 million settlement for brain injured man.
- $3 million settlement for a brain injured baby in Michigan.
- Richard Groffsky and Matthew Curtis obtained a settlement of $3,045,000 for a client (plaintiff) that presented to the hospital for an elective low-anterior colon resection. The settlement was one of Michigan's largest medical malpractice settlements of 2009.
- Richard Groffsky and Matthew Curtis obtained a confidential $7.4 million settlement for an infant born depressed after an emergent delivery. The baby developed brain damage because he was not properly resuscitated in the critical first hour after birth.
