Christopher Hogg Southfield, Michigan
Christopher M. Hogg, Esq. joined Sommers Schwartz, P.C. as a Summer Associate in early 2005, and continued working at the Firm while he completed his legal education at the Michigan State University College of Law. Mr. Hogg served as an editor of the Journal of Business and Securities Law while attending the Michigan State University College of Law. After receiving his Juris Doctor, Magna Cum Laude, Mr. Hogg joined Sommers Schwartz, P.C. as an Associate Attorney in the Personal Injury Litigation Group. Mr. Hogg has experience in complex civil litigation involving wrongful death and serious/catastrophic injury, including claims involving medical malpractice, defective/dangerous products (product liability), premises liability, auto negligence, etc. Mr. Hogg also possesses an interest in consumer protection/fraud issues, environmental protection issues (particularly, citizen enforcement of environmental laws), civil rights/liberties, and many other areas of Law. Prior to joining Sommers Schwartz, P.C., Mr. Hogg completed an internship as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney at the Ingham County Prosecutors Office, and also worked at the Maurice and Jane Sugar Law Center for Social and Economic Justice. Mr. Hogg completed his undergraduate education at the University of Michigan (Flint Campus), where he received a Bachelor of Arts, with Honors, in Public Administration. While attending the University of Michigan, Mr. Hogg was nominated as a candidate for the prestigious Maize and Blue Award for outstanding scholastic achievement and service to the University of Michigan and the surrounding community. |
