| | | Negligence Law Section to Honor U.S. District Court Judge Avern Cohn The Negligence Law Section will honor U.S. District Court Judge Avern Cohn at the section's meeting at the annual meeting of the State Bar of Michigan at the Hyatt Regency in Dearborn on Friday, September 18.
The Outstanding Achievement Award is presented to Judge Cohn for his vigorous and outspoken defense of the civil justice system and the right to trial by jury in a civil case. Judge Cohn was appointed the U.S. District Court by President Jimmy Carter in 1970. |
