Mr. Weidenfeller's practice is limited, exclusively, to cases involving professional negligence on the part of health care providers.  He has a passion for trial work and is actively involved in various forms of trial practice research.  He has an excellent trial record and has tried cases to conclusion in three different states.  His most recent verdicts include a $988,000 jury verdict in Pontiac, a $1.17 million jury verdict in Petoskey and a $234,000 jury verdict in Alpena.  Recently, Mr. Weidenfeller obtained the largest reported professional negligence settlement, in the state of Michigan, on behalf of a child with severe Cerebral Palsy.  Mr. Weidenfeller serves as an Executive Board Member of the Michigan Association for Justice, where he works on both the Pro Bono and New Lawyer Committees.  He also provides representation to indigent individuals and has received Certificates of Appreciation from the Federal Court, the U.S District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, for his involvement.  Mr. Weidenfeller has been invited to speak to other lawyers about effective pre-trial discovery and the cross-examination of expert witnesses.  In his personal life, Mr. Weidenfeller resides in Plymouth with his wife Bridget and is a member of Northridge Church. He actively contributes to various charitable organizations and enjoys traveling and working out at a local Crossfit gym.
