After joining the firm in 2007, Lisa Esser-Weidenfeller has devoted her practice to representing plaintiffs harmed as a result of personal injury, mass torts, and medical malpractice. A summa cum laude graduate of Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Lisa was honored as one of Michigan Lawyers Weekly’s “Up & Coming Lawyers” for 2012 and has earned recognition as a Michigan Super Lawyers Rising Star annually since 2011 and as one of the National Trial Lawyers “Top 40 Under 40” in Michigan each year beginning in 2012.
Judith A. Susskind concentrates in medical malpractice litigation, advocating for clients and families injured due to the negligence of doctors, nurses, and other healthcare providers. Highly regarded by her peers in the plaintiff’s bar and across the legal profession, Judith is an executive board member and past president of the Michigan Association for Justice, a fellow of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and an officer of ABOTA’s Michigan Chapter, an Oakland County Bar Foundation fellow, and a member of the State Bar of Michigan’s Judicial Qualifications Committee. In 2004, Michigan Lawyers Weekly honored her as a “Lawyer of the Year,” and in 2015 and 2017, Best Lawyers named her the metropolitan Detroit “Lawyer of the Year.” Judith has also appeared on the list of Michigan Super Lawyers annually since 2006.
