  • Wage & Hour Violations: Tiller v. Consolidated Cleaning Systems, Inc.

Sommers Schwartz attorney Jason Thompson, in conjunction with counsel from San Diego law firm Finkelstein & Krinsk LLP, brought a class action lawsuit against a janitorial and cleaning services for various wage and hour violations. The plaintiffs, hourly workers employed by the defendant, claim that they were paid a per-day or per-hour rate that did not reflect the total number of hours worked in a given week, nor were they paid for “off the clock” work or overtime for hours beyond 40 hours a week. Additionally, the defendant did not maintain a timekeeping system to accurately record worker’s hours. The wage and hour suit is presently pending before the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California.
