Sommers Schwartz is pleased to announce that 18 of its litigators have been selected as Super Lawyers for 2015. Fewer than 5 percent of the lawyers in Michigan are given this honor each year, a recognition earned through recommendations from their peers in the practice of law.

To be eligible for inclusion in Rising Stars, a candidate must be either 45 years old or younger or in practice for 10 years or less. Fewer than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in Michigan that meet those criteria are selected.
Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area.
