For more than 50 years, Orchards Children’s Services has been dedicated to improving the lives of children in our community. In addition to its ground-breaking adoption, foster parent, and family preservation programs, the organization offers specialized care and recreational and educational services to kids in Oakland, Wayne, and Macomb counties.
During the holidays, Orchards asks individuals and groups to participate in its Sponsor-a-Family campaign by collecting gifting and other items for area families. Sommers Schwartz was proud to once again rally our attorneys and staff to help make the season a little brighter for the parents and children in our adopted family.
Orchards Children’s Services is special to Sommers Schwartz. Steve Schwartz, our longtime colleague at the firm who passed away in April 2016, was a past president and former chairman of the board at Orchards. It was our honor to continue our Sponsor-a-Family tradition in his memory.
