We are pleased to announce that shareholder Judy Susskind has been named an officer of the Michigan Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates.
ABOTA is a national association of experienced trial lawyers and judges dedicated to improving the ethical and technical standards in the field of advocacy, so that individual litigants receive more effective representation and the general public benefits from more efficient administration of justice. Membership is by invitation only, and ABOTA fellows reflect the highest personal character and reputation in the legal profession.
Judy concentrates her practice on medical malpractice matters. For more than three decades, she has successfully represented plaintiffs in professional negligence claims against physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers. Her accomplishments have garnered numerous honors and awards such as repeated inclusion on the list of Michigan Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers. Best Lawyers named her “Lawyer of the Year” for medical malpractice in Detroit in 2015 and 2017, and Michigan Lawyers Weekly named July “Lawyer of the Year” for being the “winning-est” lawyer for plaintiffs in the state.
