Augustus Straker Bar Association is to promote the role of minorities in the legal profession in Oakland County and to increase the career opportunities of minorities working in the legal field. The membership of the organization is reflective of the D. Augustus Straker Bar Association’s goals, and consists primarily of lawyers of ethnic minority descent and female lawyers.
