We proudly announce that Sommers Schwartz senior shareholder Tad Roumayah has been elevated to chair of the State Bar of Michigan’s Labor and Employment Law Section.

The Labor and Employment Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan provides education, information, and analysis about labor and employment law issues to its members and the public.

Since joining Sommers Schwartz in 2011, Tad has focused his practice on employment matters. He proudly represents clients in employment disputes, fighting for workers at all levels subjected to discrimination, breaches of employment contracts, wrongful termination, civil rights violations, and whistleblower retaliation.

Tad was elected a junior shareholder in March 2016, making him one of the youngest shareholders in the firm’s history. The Sommers Schwartz Board of Directors appointed him secretary in 2018, and the firm elected him to senior shareholder in 2020, making Tad one of the youngest to attain an equity partnership in the firm’s history.

During his career, Tad has rightfully earned a solid reputation among both the plaintiff and defense bars and is known for his civility and professionalism.

Please join us in congratulating Tad on this well-deserved recognition!
