Michigan Lawyers Weekly Names Tad Roumayah to the 2020 Class of “Up & Coming Lawyers”
We are pleased to announce senior shareholder Tad T. Roumayah has been selected to Michigan Lawyers Weekly’s 2020 class of “Up & Coming Lawyers.”
The annual award spotlights lawyers in their first ten years in practice who have established names for themselves by displaying the ambition, drive, and accomplishments that distinguish them from their peers. Michigan Lawyers Weekly will celebrate Tad and his fellow honorees at a virtual ceremony on December 8, 2020.
Since joining Sommers Schwartz in 2011, Tad has focused his practice on employment matters. He proudly represents clients in employment disputes, fighting for workers at all levels who have been subjected to discrimination, breaches of employment contracts, wrongful termination, civil rights violations, and whistleblower retaliation.
Tad is wise beyond his years, a characteristic that led to his election as a junior shareholder in March 2016, making him one of the youngest shareholders in the firm’s history. In 2018, the Sommers Schwartz Board of Directors appointed Tad as its secretary – again, making him one of the youngest in the firm’s history to hold that position. This year, the firm elected him to senior shareholder, making him one of the youngest to attain an equity partnership in the firm’s history.
Over the past ten years, Tad has rightfully earned a solid reputation among both the plaintiff and defense bars and is known for his civility and professionalism.
Please join us in congratulating Tad on this well-deserved recognition!
