Kids On The Go Again Recognizes Sommers Schwartz’s Ongoing Support
Kids On The Go has honored Sommers Schwartz with its annual Community Sponsorship Award. This marks the third consecutive year the firm has received this recognition.
Close to our hearts, Kids On the Go (KOTG) offers physical, occupational, recreational, and speech therapies to children ages 3-17 with special needs through a full schedule of facilitated activities during the school year and summer months.
Sommers Schwartz shareholder Dina Zalewski sits on the nonprofit’s board of directors and expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone at the firm:
“We have made a significant impact by donating our time and resources to the Kids On The Go mission, and our contributions have directly supported special needs families by sending several kids to camp at no cost to their families. These camps are run by licensed speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, special education teachers, and retired athletes. On behalf of the KOTG board and leadership, thank you all for your generosity and your kindness.”
Sommers Schwartz was a proud sponsor of KOTG’s Toast of Giving fall fundraiser at Lochmoor County Club on November 7th, during which the firm received the 2025 Community Sponsorship Award plaque.
Coinciding with the Detroit Lions Thanksgiving Day football game at Ford Field, New York Giants Director of Player Engagement and Michigan State University alum Darien Harris dedicated a shoe to KOTG for the NFL’s My Cause My Cleat campaign. The shoe will be auctioned, with the proceeds going to Kids On The Go.
