Sommers Schwartz attorney Michael Cunningham secured a $2.65 million settlement in an automobile accident case where a 54-year old wife and mother of two was killed. The victim was driving her SUV on a clear day with her father, sister, and daughter in the car when a young man made a U-turn in front of the vehicle, hitting her SUV in her lane. She tried to avoid the collision and went off the road, but the car flipped four times and she died at the scene of head injuries. The driver of the other car was acting in the scope of his employment at the time of the accident.
