Kathryn E. Milz

Kate Milz represents clients whose employers have negligently or purposely withheld wages, overtime, and other compensation. Most are class action disputes litigated in federal courts across the U.S.

A proven collaborator and committed team player, Kate is involved in every phase of complex litigation. She steps up and provides whatever is needed to help deliver the best possible outcomes. A bigger picture strategist who also pays meticulous attention to details, Kate leaves no stone unturned when collecting facts, researching and applying the law, and advocating for every client.

Following law school, Kate practiced in Chicago with two litigation firms, where she managed a substantial docket of cases, appeared in court, conducted pre-suit intake and investigations, and excelled in written advocacy. She also brings valuable business-to-consumer experience outside the law, offering her valuable perspective on clients’ needs and the challenges litigation imposes on them.

Outside of the office, Kate is an avid runner and founding member of a local running group, and she participates in various marathons each year. As an athlete, she understands discipline, consistency, and going the distance to pursue the win and applies these mindsets to fighting for her clients’ rights.
