Video Transcript: Food Labeling Class Actions

In the world of class actions, the big news revolves around food labeling lawsuits. My partner, Lance Young, has some videos about a recent Supreme Court decision and the laws that are being used in those lawsuits. But in essence, what they involve is accurate food labeling. Today’s consumers, more than ever before, really care about what it is they’re purchasing and what they’re eating. The food label is what gives the consumer the information, and so these lawsuits are being brought by large numbers of consumers as class actions against the food manufacturers when they mislabel, don’t disclose certain ingredients, or otherwise violate the disclosure laws and leave the consumer without information about what it is they’re buying and eating.
