Sommers Schwartz is pleased to announce that senior shareholder Lisa Esser-Weidenfeller has been elected to the firm’s board of directors, and Michael “Mickey” McCullough II has been elevated from associate to shareholder. 

Lisa is a member of the Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury Litigation Groups and represents clients harmed by birth trauma, professional negligence, dangerous drugs, and defective devices. She has also gained a national reputation for representing survivors of sexual assault, securing substantial settlements in cases such as those involving Michigan State University and USA Gymnastics doctor Larry Nasser and University of Michigan doctor Robert Anderson. 

Also a member of the Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury Litigation teams, Mickey focuses his practice on matters involving general and professional negligence, willful misconduct, and civil rights violations.
