Sommers Schwartz is delighted to announce the addition of three attorneys!

Alanna M. Denha is an associate in the Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury practice groups. While in college at Oakland University, she earned placement into a joint program with Wayne State University Law School that allowed her to earn a bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctor in five years. Alanna was previously a law clerk with Sommers Schwartz.

Alana A. Karbal is an associate in the Employment Law and Unpaid Wages & Overtime practice groups. Before Sommers Schwartz, she practiced with a boutique employee-side employment and civil rights firm. Alana earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and her Juris Doctor from Wayne State University Law School.

Jenna Sheena is an associate in the Employment Law practice group. An honors graduate of Madonna University, she later earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, where she repeated her academic success. Jenna also clerked at Sommers Schwartz during law school and rejoins the firm as a member of the bar.

Sommers Schwartz is committed to maintaining a diverse and inclusive workplace. Our four most recent attorney hires – Alanna, Alana, Jenna, and Elaina Bailey, an associate who joined the Complex Litigation practice group in January 2020 – reflect this commitment.
