STANDING UP FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT HAVE A VOICE
Alanna Denha is an associate in Sommers Schwartz’s Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury Litigation Groups, helping clients obtain compensation for injuries caused by others’ negligence.
An academic standout at Oakland University, Alanna earned placement into a joint program with Wayne State University Law School that enabled her to earn both a bachelor’s degree and a Juris Doctor in just five years. Anxious to supplement her classroom learning with real-world experience, Alanna clerked and interned with five law firms –including Sommers Schwartz –where she researched legal issues, learned to review medical records, and drafted pleadings, motions, and briefs. She also interned with the Oakland County Circuit Court, which allowed her to observe various hearings, trials, and other proceedings and gain insight into the judicial process.
After passing the bar exam and entering the legal profession, Alanna returned to Sommers Schwartz to launch her career
