Sommers Schwartz Names New Shareholders and Re-Elects Board of Directors
We are pleased to announce that Jay Yasso has been named a senior shareholder at the firm and that Tad Roumayah has been elevated from associate to shareholder.
Jay practices in our Medical Malpractice, Personal Injury, and Commercial & Intellectual Property Litigation Groups, and over the course of his 20-year career, he has litigated, mediated, and facilitated numerous multi-million dollar settlements on behalf of his clients. He also counsels clients in the entertainment industry, including record companies, artists, producers, agents, authors and songwriters, publishers, and models.
As a member of the Employment Litigation Group, Tad fights for employees harmed as the result of discrimination, wrongful discharge, whistleblower retaliation, wage theft and abuse, Family Medical Leave Act and civil rights violations, and other workplace issues. Unique for an employment attorney, he also counsels businesses involved in contract disputes and business torts and advises them on human resource policies and procedures.
We are also pleased to share that senior shareholders Matt Curtis, Rick Fox, Kevin Stoops, Dan Swanson, and Jason Thompson have each been re-elected to one-year terms on the firm’s board of directors. Under their sound leadership, Sommers Schwartz continues to thrive and grow.
