Advocating on behalf of aggrieved employees and injury victims
Rob Ash is a crucial member of the firm’s Complex Litigation Group, which represents groups of workers, consumers, and others in class action lawsuits. Rob comes from a long line of advocates, who have instilled a respect for the law, and the importance that it can have in a person’s life. Rob puts this knowledge to use, advocating on behalf of aggrieved employees and injury victims. This background, combined with Rob’s strong belief you don’t stop until the job is done, makes him a strong advocate in and out of the courtroom.
A major part of Rob’s practice is dedicated to representing employees in collective and class actions based on their employers’ failure to pay wages and overtime compensation. He routinely appears in federal courts across the United States, and, as class counsel in several of these lawsuits, he has recovered millions of dollars on behalf of his clients. Over the years, Rob has been extremely fortunate to practice with some of the best attorneys, locally and nationally. This knowledge has become invaluable to his practice of law.
Rob has represented clients in various complex commercial disputes involving international commerce, intellectual property, consumer class actions, and other claims. His work also includes personal injury actions, in which he has obtained significant damages awards for clients who were seriously injured as the result of automobile and trucking accidents, animal attacks, premises liability, and other acts of negligence. Additionally, he has successfully represented employees subjected to unlawful discrimination, whistleblower retaliation, and breach of employment contracts.
When he is not practicing law, Rob enjoys playing soccer, golf, and, in the winter, skiing. That, and reading science fiction stories

Testimonials
I had been working for an employer I knew was engaging in unethical business practices by requiring employees to work off the clock without compensation. Searching the internet for help in getting the money due me, I found Sommers Schwartz, P.C.! I decided to give them a call and within a day was contacted by Rob Ash, an attorney at the firm. He put me at ease immediately, and we quickly got to work pulling together a very successful class action against my former employer. My case recently settled and I received my settlement, which would not have been possible without the commitment and diligence of the firm and Rob Ash. These guys were very responsive to my concerns. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in a situation like myself where an employer is withholding wages, forcing you to work without pay to keep your job. If you are experiencing similar circumstances, please reach out to them. You do have a voice, and they will make sure your voice is heard!!!
I wanted to thank you for your assistance in my overtime hours situation Your expertise and professionalism were excellent. Thanks again for everything!
